GENERAL DISTRICT ELECTION

The District will be conducting its General District Election on November 4, 2003. Five candidates have filed for the three Director positions up for election. The election will be held at the Operations and Maintenance Field Office located at 800 Aqueduct Street, Lost Hills. The poll site will be open for voting from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

As a convenience, all voters are being sent a proxy and authorization to vote form. If you will be voting on behalf of another individual, or, on behalf of a partnership, association, corporation, trust or other business entity, this form must be signed and brought to the poll site on election night.

For those voters wishing to vote by mail, please call the Administrative Office at (661) 633-9022 and a ballot and proxy and authorization to vote form will be mailed to you. The last date to request an absentee ballot is October 29, 2003. For your absentee ballot to be counted it must be received by 8:00 P.M. at either the polling place in Lost Hills or the Administrative Office located at 3008 Sillect Avenue, Suite 205, Bakersfield.
