SUBJECT:       2006 Water Allocation

            The Department of Water Resources (DWR) indicated today that it will increase the SWP allocation for 2006 from 65% to 70% of Contractor entitlement requests.  Based on this, your 2006 allocation is increased from 65% to 70% of the entitlement described on Exhibit A of your Water Supply Contract.

 

            DWR also notified us that it will continue to make Article 21 water available for another week. The Article 21 water will now be available through January 25th. DWR will review its ability to continue Article 21 water early next week.

 

            DWR will update 2006 water supply figures as weather conditions develop.  We will notify you as soon as we receive any new information.
